Calendar dates only — no time of day and no time zones, so the answer never shifts with your location.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when the month is too short for the day, like 31 January plus one month?

The Result date is clamped to the last day of the target month, so 31 January plus one month is 28 February (29 in a leap year). The result marks the date as clamped so you know the day-of-month was reduced.

Does the calculator handle time zones or times of day?

No. It works on Calendar dates only — a year, month, and day with no time of day and no time zone — so the answer never shifts with your location or with daylight saving.

Why is a month or year Offset not reversible?

Because of month-end clamping. 31 January plus one month is 28 February, but 28 February minus one month is 28 January, not 31. Day and week Offsets are exact and always reverse.
